Christmas Tree Sale

Annual Event

Our major fund raiser of the year starts after Thanksgiving and continues until Christmas.  We sell Christmas trees at the Kings Park Shopping Center, next to the CVS.

Our hours are:

• 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM on weekdays
  
• 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM on weekends         
  

Burke Centre Activities

Annual Event

We provide a booth at the Burke Centre Fall Festival each year selling hot dogs and sodas. This is a two day event and lots of fun. Contact us for details!

Through membership in a Lions club, people not only help those in need, but also have the opportunity to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills. The Burke Lions Club serves the Burke area of Northern Virginia. The club currently has 25 members and is always looking for dedicated men and women willing to contribute time and energy to making their community a better place to live.

Meetings

The Burke Lions Club holds bi-monthly dinner meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. The meetings are held at the Red Hot and Blue located at 4150 Chain Bridge Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and consist of social time followed by the club meeting at 7:00 p.m. The club meeting includes dinner and a discussion of club activities, usually followed by an invited speaker.  Speakers may present local issues of interest, such as the Virginia Lions Youth Camp, to the members. Several special meetings are held throughout the year for which members are encouraged to bring spouses and other guests. Anyone interested in learning more about our club is encouraged to contact us for an invitation to attend a club meeting and to join us for a FREE dinner!
